What We're Looking For Datavant's Salesforce Center of Excellence is seeking a seasoned, high-impact Senior Salesforce Administrator with a strong sense of ownership and a problem solving mindset. This position requires a unique blend of advanced technical skills and strategic business acumen. Your role will be hands-on and you will play a major role in owning projects end-to-end: From requirements, initial design, declarative build, testing, through product release. Getting things done is the priority. What You Will Do
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders across the company to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements.
- Partner closely with Architects, other Admins, Developers, consultants, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
- Manage and optimize complex data models, sharing rules, roles, profiles, permission sets.
- Proactive optimization - security reviews, release updates, and tackle existing technical debt.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including technical specifications, process diagrams, and user guides.
- Lead end-user UAT and training sessions to assist in change management efforts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to the platform and related tools.
What You Need to Succeed
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator on core clouds(Sales, Service, Experience) in a complex, multi-cloud, multi-instance organization.
- Expert-level proficiency in declarative automation tools, particularly Salesforce Flow.
- Experience administering multiple production instances and performing org merges.
- Some system integrations experience via declarative Salesforce solutions.
- Familiarity with code based solutions, enough to collaborate with developers.
- Expertise in leading and executing large scale data migration projects.
- Experience with deployment processes and tools (e.g. Gearset, Copado, Change Sets).
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator and Platform App Builder required.
