What We're Looking For Datavant's Salesforce Center of Excellence is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with a strong sense of ownership and a problem solving mindset. This position requires a blend of declarative and programmatic expertise to meet complex business requirements while adhering to CoE standards. Your role will be hands-on and will require a strong technical background with the ability to problem solve, adapt, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment where getting things done is the priority. What You Will Do
- Solve business problems with the right programmatic or declarative solutions: Apex, LWC, and Flow.
- Implement secure and scalable integrations between Salesforce and external systems using various Salesforce tools and interacting with Mulesoft.
- Manage the technical debt of the platform, write Apex tests, and perform performance tuning.
- Contribute to all phases of Salesforce projects: From technical design, to build, testing, peer code reviews, and release assistance.
- Partner closely with Architects, Admins, consultants and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including technical specifications, process diagrams, and user guides.
- Contribute to the definition and enforcement of CoE standards.
What You Need to Succeed
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer on core cloud products (Sales, Service, Experience)
- High-level proficiency in Apex, LWC, event driven integration patterns.
- Medium-level proficiency in declarative automation tools, particularly Salesforce Flow.
- Expertise in leading and executing large scale data migration projects.
- Data 360 (Data Cloud) implementation experience.
- Experience with Mulesoft, Heroku, or Kafka middleware tools.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification required.
