HealthPartners is currently hiring a Cache/IRIS Administrator. The Cache/IRIS Administrator manages and maintains Cache/IRIS databases and ensures seamless integration across systems. The position is responsible for updating and maintaining documentation and processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and HealthPartners controls. The Cache/IRIS Administrator supports both Care Delivery and Health Plan operations by maintaining essential systems which are vital to the organization's infrastructure. Systems include the following:
- Epic (Care Delivery)
- Oracle Autonomous Health Framework (AHF) (Health Plan)
- MongoDB (Care Delivery and Health Plan)
- Redis (Care Delivery and Health Plan)
Required Qualifications:
- Four (4) year college degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related field OR three plus (3+) years of IT related experience
- One (1) year of UNIX shell scripting experience
- Good understanding of technical infrastructure components (Unix/Linux, Windows, etc.)
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Experience writing technical documentation and interpreting business documentation.
- Strong understanding of the LAN and WAN network
- Strong understanding of basic disaster recovery principles
- Flexible to work outside standard business hours, including weekends, with participation in an on-call rotation.
- Effectively use Microsoft tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three (3) years of experience with designing, maintaining, and administering Cache/IRIS Databases
- Language Proficiencies: IRIS Object Script, Ansible, Python, PowerShell
- Tools Experience: IRIS Studio, DB Visualizer, VSCode, GitHub
- Epic System Manager Certification
- Prior Health Care industry experience
Hours/Location:
- Monday - Friday; core business hours
- This is a hybrid position. During the onboarding process, we anticipate requiring on-site presence a couple of days per week. Future on-site requirements will be determined based on business needs.
- Participation in a shared on-call rotation to support team needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains utilities, scripts, and data structures for smaller data needs, or for midsized system outputs consistent with HealthPartners database architecture.
- Participates in disaster recovery simulations; provides feedback on current Disaster Recovery test plans to management.
- Monitors database alerts identifying system capacity, unexpected data growth, and potential database corruption.
- Identifies, analyzes, and provides resolution documentation for database incidents and problems.
- Maintains and monitors the efficiency and effectiveness of database performance.
- Performs smaller project tasks, coordinating efforts with other IT Groups.
- Partners with vendors during application installation in order to meet database needs and requirements.
- Provides input to architectural diagrams.
