Job Title: Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia Care Unit Location: Dr, Sylmar, CA 91342 Duration: 3 months to long term Shift: 2x10-Hour (08:00 AM - 06:00 PM) Role & Responsibilities: RN will be providing total care to patients with various injuries, illnesses, disabilities, and post-surgical procedures such as OR, IR, Cath Lab, GI Lab, ECT, and Pain procedures. In post-op, RN will care for semiconscious patients of all ages and acuity such as observing patients for side effects of anesthesia throughout sedation recovery from the operating room and procedural areas. RN will care for boarding of inpatients needing Intensive Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit/Step Down Unit, Telemetry and Medical/Surgical levels of care. Required Skills: Minimum of one (1) year of PACU experience as a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit RN in an operating room. Registered Nurse License. BLS/CPR Certificate. ACLS Certification. PALS Certification. MAB or CPI Certificate. Flu Vaccination.
