HealthEquity is on a mission to transform how consumers engage with their health and financial well-being-and we're determined to make HealthEquity the #1 brand in the marketplace.The AVP, Relationship Manager - Enterprise Clients is responsible for knowing team's book of business, understand the potential growth and retention opportunities, be versed in the health care industry and financial industry - including but not limited to industry forums and conferences, consultant/broker market, employer business and benefits framework strategy, Consumer Directed Healthcare (CDH) and strategic initiatives and share that knowledge with your team. The AVP, RM Enterprise Client provides strategic leadership to a team of Account Executives, driving the growth of HealthEquity's account base and custodial assets with existing employer partners. This role champions strong client relationships, develops market-driven strategies, and ensures the team delivers consultative support and exceptional service. This role also focuses on team development, cross-functional engagement, and advocating for both client and team needs.

What you'll be doing

    Managing and carrying out the personnel actions for direct reports, including but not limited to hiring and scheduling; training and evaluating; coaching and managing performance; making salary, merit, or other compensation recommendations for team of direct reports; and making recommendations and/or taking corrective or disciplinary action as appropriate.
  • Supporting your team members in achieving their goals to expand the number of accounts (Health Savings Reimbursement Accounts, Lifestyle, Commuter, COBRA and Direct Bill) and custodial assets for existing employer partners
    • Supporting your team in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with their clients and their client's consultant/broker, as well as other ecosystem vendor partners.
    • Providing leadership to account executives in securing and building business partnerships with their selected customer base.
  • Working with the team to gather information, analyze and develop strategies concerning dynamics that may affect their area of responsibility, such as changes in customer ownership or new affiliations; current market share and targets of opportunities for new growth; customers' changing requirements; and competitor strengths and weaknesses. And continually communicating strategies to the SVP, Enterprise Client Relationships.
  • Serve as an escalation point for your team members, in partnership with the SVP, Enterprise Client Relationships when advocating internally on behalf of the employer partner.
    • Provide oversight to your team, to guide each member on consultative strategic activities with employer partners (such as overall corporate and benefits strategies benefit plan review, CDH account adoption best practices, financial health, RFPs).
    • Support the team in developing and reporting when asked for client financial performance including renewal planning, negotiation and profitability levels.
    • Provide guidance for and oversight to your team members to ensure HealthEquity is delivering the service, support, and overall solution to our clients.
    • Impart your healthcare industry knowledge as well as knowledge of your client's industry.
    • Be proactive in advocating the needs of your team members related to program/product needs.
    • Engage with other leaders and teams across the business on cross-functional initiatives
    • Seek out and hire top talent, develop and promote existing talent, and build strong leaders.
    • Actively engage in internal HealthEquity operational and leadership meetings to support our business.
  • Other duties as assigned

What you will need to be successful

  • Proven track record of over 7+ years of strategic and consultative selling and partnering with senior-level executives including but not limited to CHRO, CFO and EVP, SVP and VP Compensation and Benefits and retirement within the Insurance or Finance industry in the Enterprise space
  • Bachelor Degree
  • Expert relationship management skills including negotiation, collaboration, and listening skills
  • Familiarity with Health Insurance Industry and all types of Health Accounts
  • Presentation Skills including messaging and positioning information to meet and influence client need
  • Prior management experience preferred
  • Proactive problem solving
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Strong working knowledge of employer benefits framework and plan design
  • Occasional travel to attend training or meetings may be required.

Salary Range

$137500.00 To $182000.00 / year

The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. This position is also eligible for additional annual sales incentive commissions, and details regarding these additional sales incentive commissions will be provided after hire. This position will further be eligible for restricted stock units as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits including:
