As part of our clinical support team, you will be a key component in customer satisfaction and have a responsibility to make every contact informative, productive and positive for our members and providers. You'll have the opportunity to do live outreach, educating members about program benefits and services while also helping to manage member cases. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage administrative documentation in our medical management systems
  • Maintain compliance with turnaround times based on the member's product, the type of request and the specific regulatory agency
  • Engage members over the phone to schedule new and annual assessments
  • Coordinate and manage scheduled service coordinators
  • Handle rescheduling and urgent requests promptly
  • Ability to us mapping to tools to calculate distance and travel times for scheduling purposes
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • 1+ years of clerical / administrative experience
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel (create, edit, save documents) and Outlook (email and calendar management)
  • Access to high-speed internet at residence
  • Commutable distance to Houston, TX

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years medical background in a hospital, physician's office or medical clinic
  • Medicare and / or Medicaid experience
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish
  • Healthcare or Insurance Benefits experience

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills - oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, this includes the ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple demands and competing deadlines

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 to $31.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
