Network Analysts (Chicago, IL and Brookfield, WI Locations)

Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a Network Analysts (Chicago, IL and Brookfield, WI Locations) for an opportunity with a client located in Naperville, IL.

Responsibilities:

• Use tools (like SNMP, packet sniffers) to monitor network traffic, identify bottlenecks, security threats, and performance issues, and generate reports
• Work with IT teams to design and deploy new network solutions, including integrating new technologies and upgrading existing infrastructure (routers, switches, SD-WAN)
• Diagnose and resolve complex connectivity issues, hardware failures, and security incidents via phone, email, or in-person support
• Implement and maintain security protocols, manage firewalls, and ensure compliance to protect against unauthorized access
• Provide technical support, train users, and document procedures for network operations

Requirements:

• Deep knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP), hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers), VPNs, and monitoring tools
• Ability to interpret complex data, detect anomalies, and make informed decisions
• Explain technical issues clearly to both IT peers and non-technical stakeholders
• Meticulous attention to detail for threat detection and error identification
• Often requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, plus certifications
• Recent experience as Network Admin, Network Analyst or NOC Engineer (2+ years of exp here)
• Recent experience troubleshooting routers, switches and firewalls (cisco preferred)
• DNAC, vManage and ISE
• SDWAN knowledge
• 6+ month contract (expected to extend)
• Must be US Citizen
