About the role As Technology Business Consultant you will be the main point of contact for customers in Front Arena implementation projects with focus on Convertible Trading, working in modern environments with state-of-the-art application in the financial sector. In addition to cooperating with development on new products and services, this also includes the design, implementation of technological integrations and the expansion of infrastructure. You will lead a team of Junior consultants. About the team We are a dynamic and international team of Front Arena consultants. Our colleagues work together and celebrate together. * Lead technical and functional aspects of consulting projects * Mentor and provide guidance to junior business analysts and technology consultants. * Advise on performance optimization, infrastructure design, and system improvements. * Oversee installation, configuration, and setup of enterprise applications. * Develop scripts and customize application implementations to meet client needs. * Create and execute test plans and test cases to validate enhancements and ensure application integrity. * Influence clients, business partners, and vendors on priorities, hardware/software selection, and vendor decisions. * Collaborate directly with clients on-site, both in the US and Europe. * Provide pre-sales technical support when required. * A robust background in implementing or supporting sell-side OMS - either equity, options or bonds - experience in multiple markets is a big bonus! (Valdi, Fidessa, FlexTrade, TraFIX, TOMS, ION). * Experience in implementing or supporting position management systems and concepts, encompassing valuation, risk, and P&L (Imagine, in-house). * Strong Python development skills, enabling proficient code writing, troubleshooting, testing and change control management. * Technical expertise with an organized and structured approach akin to a developer. * Proficiency in customizations, bringing a blend of functional knowledge, general project management, and organizational skills to the role. * Knowledge of standard software development methodologies, such as waterfall model or agile approaches. * Good verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences at different hierarchical levels, able to train new/ junior talent and users. * Good analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, teamwork, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills * This position is ideally suited for an individual who thrives in a challenging environment and is eager to contribute to our team's success. Bonusif you have * Knowledge of FIS Cross Assets Risk and Trading Platform (Front Arena) and services and the financial services industry. * Business/market knowledge across equities, bonds, options - either buy-side or sell-side. * Valuation knowledge, equities, equity derivatives, bonds/fixed income, credit derivatives. * Proficiency in at least one appropriate application programming language, such as C#, C++ and/or Java. * Flexible and creative work environment.
