Job Description

Position Summary:

Work with business and technology team members to analyze functional and technical requirements to map them to policies and compliance controls. Implement new technologies that align to program timelines and goals. Provide consultation to users related to business system processes, technologies and audit controls. You will help resolve requests and incidents to address user technology and system issues. Conduct validation controls across the full technology stack to meet compliance requirements. You will report to the Governance Risk and Compliance Special Projects Program Manager.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Work with departments teams to use cloud services to achieve Compliance with Government regulations.
  • Work with external partners and Cloud Services Providers to coordinate with IT Technology Experts and Business Engineers to deploy solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and implement technical solutions to solve business problems
  • Implement NIST 800-171 guidelines to maintain highest level of compliance.
  • Collaborate with Cloud Engineers to align to Rockwell Standards within the context of mandatory compliance.
  • Author and iterate technical documentation
  • Stay current with latest cloud tech and obtain/maintain cloud and government certifications
  • Help Rockwell accelerate the use of cloud services across the organization
  • Practice SAFE Agile principles
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required- we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, not now or in the future, for this job opening
  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of time
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Typically requires 5+ years of relevant work experience in IT.
  • Advanced degree in computer science or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Cloud experience, preferably Azure.
  • Technical Skills: Understanding of cloud computing technologies. Optionally, demonstrated hands-on experience in the following:
  • Efficiency with scripting and automation tools like Terraform, YAML, PowerShell, Python, or ADO.
  • O365 Ecosystem of applications - Purview, Teams, PowerApps, SharePoint, Intune, and other
  • Core Azure IaaS: Compute, Storage, Networking, and High Availability configurations.
  • Azure PaaS Services: Logic Apps, Azure Monitor/Log Analytics, Defender for Cloud, IoT suite, Advisor.
  • Azure Virtual Desktop support
  • Identity and Authentication: SSO/Federation, AD/MS Entra, ADFS, MFA.
  • Experience in 2 or more continuous integration and deployment automation tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub
  • Experience implementing cost management solutions.
  • Experience using IT infrastructure monitoring solutions.
  • Understand and use cloud networking fundamentals like DNS, Hub-Spoke model, firewall rules, VWAN, VLANS and others.
  • Experience in one or more SQL or NoSQL databases like AzureSQL, MSSQL MI
  • Any cloud certifications (AZ-400, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar)
  • Interest for Microsoft technologies, Azure cloud and will to constantly grow and enhancing the skills in this area
