Security Guard - Mall Patrol Driver

As a Security Guard - Mall Patrol Driver in Santa Fe, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment for all guests and staff. Your presence and exceptional customer service will contribute to a positive experience, while your role as a driver allows you to respond quickly throughout the location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail store and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Assist store staff and visitors with directions, information, and general assistance as needed.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including guiding people to designated areas and communicating with law enforcement or emergency responders as directed by Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
