The Trimble AECO segment provides digital construction solutions that increase precision and productivity for Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations.

What Makes This Role Great:

In this role, you'll be the gatekeeper of quality for our AECO digital construction solutions, directly influencing the reliability of tools used by architects and engineers worldwide while driving the shift toward an API-first, automated testing culture.

Key Exciting Responsibilities

  • Architect and maintain robust automation frameworks for web applications and backend services using cutting-edge tools like Playwright or Cypress.

  • Champion product excellence by designing comprehensive test plans that cover everything from intricate UI workflows to high-performance API integrations.

  • Collaborate closely with Development and SRE teams in an agile environment to resolve complex system malfunctions and streamline the delivery pipeline.

  • Drive continuous improvement by integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows, ensuring rapid and reliable software releases.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Testing Expertise: 3-5 years of professional experience in software testing with a deep understanding of QA methodologies and automation principles.

  • Coding Proficiency: Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C# to develop scalable automation scripts.

  • Technical Versatility: Hands-on experience with UI automation (Selenium, Playwright) and API testing tools (Pytest, Postman, Rest Assured).

  • Modern DevOps Knowledge: Solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and proficiency in writing SQL/NoSQL database queries.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience navigating cloud provider platforms such as AWS or Azure.

  • Familiarity with leveraging AI tools like Copilot or Cursor to accelerate test automation development.

Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
