Reporting into the Director, Gateway Clearinghouse, the Product Manager, Clearinghouse Enablement will be assisting and leading our efforts in bringing to market customer self-service workflows enabling efficient onboarding of new customers onto Availity's platform. The role will collaborate with the Director, Gateway Clearinghouse for the Gateway Clearinghouse platform with the development and maintenance of internal and external toolsets and applications driving both operational excellence and collaborative success. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in healthcare administrative and payment systems.

To be qualified for this position you have:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Product Management within the healthcare space, preferably in revenue cycle management, EDI clearinghouse or interoperability. This is required to be considered for the role.

  • Proven experience creating and executing roadmaps as well as leading a development team to meet deliverables.

  • Strong experience with product development life cycle (PDLC).

  • Experience managing customer expectations.

  • Worked in and are comfortable operating in a matrix organization, coordinating across multiple disciplines.

  • Technical acumen and the ability to grasp technical concepts,. You understand APIs and how they work.

  • Experience gathering product requirements and getting feedback from technical staff.

  • Knowledge of modern technology architectures, database technology, virtualization, and the impact of government initiatives and HIPAA privacy and security regulations on system design.

  • Understand the healthcare EDI ecosystem, business models and customer needs

  • Familiarity with JIRA.

You will be:

  • Defining product vision and roadmap for a new Gateway Clearinghouse platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.

  • Working with internal stakeholders and health plans to understand their workflows.

  • Directing the development of operational and reporting metrics to ensure product success.

  • Developing requirements to support operational and business needs translating them into clear user stories and epics for development teams.

  • Gathering, analyzing, and responding to user feedback.

  • Working cross-functionally in a matrix driven environment.

  • Leading team of product owners and product analysts to execute against product vision.

  • Conducting go-to-market research and incorporate customer insights into product planning.
