Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule, conduct, or coordinate detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a major project and/or in a total project of moderate scope in a fast-paced changing environment. Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary project team and effectively manage several projects simultaneously within set budget and schedule constraints. Independently perform most assignments using advanced software with instructions as to general results expected. Perform work that involves conventional practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and coordination issues with periodic technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed approach to assignments. Execute and follow governance and procedures with a questioning and analytical approach, ensuring adherence to client requirements through regular progress monitoring and coordination meetings. Prepare sketches, calculations, and substantial input to technical reports demonstrating knowledge of subsea engineering and a good general awareness of other related areas. Perform project/budget controls and work control activities including assessing and scheduling. Participate in regular process progress meetings and provide management with regular reports effectively communicating comprehensive updates on project milestones and developments. Train others on company design guidelines, software, technical library, and quality assurance procedures. Execute other project engineering functions as assigned by management. Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders and cooperate in exchange of relevant information as required to meet the project objectives. Understand and manage the interrelationship of various internal and external groups, including interface with vendors, to facilitate objectives, provide oversight and ensure projects satisfy stakeholder requirements. Manage subsea equipment vendor applying knowledge of subsea trees, valves, chokes, jumpers, manifolds, and connectors. Deliver a technical system solution to meet customer project requirements, while maximizing execution efficiency and cost effectiveness. Ensure compliance with industry standards (API/ISO) operators standards, internal procedures, and project requirements. Develop and align project engineering execution plans (Cost Time Resources, Document Register, Interface Register, Schedule etc.) and continuously monitor to ensure engineering scope is delivered to plan. Pro-actively address any Project nonconformances to ensure robust preventive actions are implemented and lessons learned shared. Participate in Safety Reviews/HAZOP/HAZID, Environmental Impact Assessments and Risk Assessments. Attend Factory Acceptance Site Integration Tests of new equipment on Contractor's premises; Including but not limited to XT's, Manifolds, Jumper/Connector Systems, Distribution Systems, Umbilicals, HPUs, MCS's.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Subsea Engineering, Petroleum or Chemical Engineering and 24 months of Subsea/mechanical design engineering experience including experience preparing technical and project documents for multi-disciplinary project work, experience with project/budget controls; and experience with work control activities including assessing and scheduling.
