Position Summary and Responsibilities:


The Garage Associate will provide clerical assistance -will be responsible for organization and inventory of parts. Running of parts. Duties are as follows, but not limited to:



  • Ensure assigned duties are accomplished accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Receive parts - check in parts, receive into inventory, print barcode and close PO, put stock parts away or tag unit-specific parts for techs
  • Keep manager/supervisor informed of any issues which could affect business.
  • Input outside repair invoices into fleet management program work order and attach the invoice copy to the work order
  • Cycle count inventory once a week
  • Run DVIR report hourly
  • Assist night management with road calls and issuing PO's
  • Check Mail
  • Filling and scanning paper invoices



Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 3:00pm - 11:30pm


Pay: $22.65 per hour



Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:



  • Parts experience preferred but not required
  • Basic computer knowledge required
  • Must be very detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Must be a self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and schedule workload
  • Ability to work with confidential information/material
  • Enthusiastic self-starter
  • Ability to receive and follow directions
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Good communication skills
  • Customer-focused
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Professional communication skills, excellent telephone etiquette
  • High School Diploma or GED required



Physical Requirements:



  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to get certified to operate forklift

The videos are also used to exonerate drivers in accidents. All drivers sign a driver consent form upon hire to confirm their understanding."
