We are currently seeking a Floor Bar 5-Axis Machinist in our Rhinelander, WI location. In this role, you will perform set up and machining of large complex weldments in 3- to 5- Axis on a Heidenhain TNC-7 control system. You will operate the Soraluce Horizontal 5- Axis Floor Bar in a safe and productive manner as required. MAJOR DUTIES: Independently setup intricate parts and fixturing Work from advanced drawings and job layouts Machine intermediate to advanced parts with a high level of quality using materials such as Stainless Steel, Aluminum, exotic and high temperature alloys Make all parts efficiently within print/contract details using materials Overhead Crane operation and rigging Setup tooling using machine setup documentation Maintain equipment and safe work area Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a strong 5-Axis machining background including tool path verification and collision analysis Machining experience in a manufacturing industry is required Heidenhain TNC-7 controls system experience strongly desired Worked with materials such as Stainless Steel, Aluminum, exotic and high temperature alloys a plus Experience working with large complex weldments (up to 90') is preferred Experience setting up quality gauging preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 60 pounds.
