This role will be Full-Time evening shift, 0630-1900 Alternating 3-12 hr shift with other lead. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance eligible. Diagnostic Imaging Technical Lead Job Responsibilities:
- Oversees and assists team members in assigned functional area, which may include but not limited to, ensuring team is meeting key-deliverables and quality standards, addressing and resolving challenges, managing and tracking performance, and assisting in time management and scheduling; escalates issues to senior leaders as needed.
- Obtains clinical history/informed consent from patients or patients' charts to assist the physician in optimizing the performance and interpretation of the examination, as evidenced by the exam results.
- Coordinates new team member and student department orientation/training. Assists with patient and team member scheduling to enhance the productivity of the department.
- Maintains an orderly, safe, and clean environment to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school/program of radiography, Nuclear Medicine or MRI certification from ARMRIT or CAMRT, Graduate of an accredited school of radiography or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Licensure: Upon start, must be licensed as required by the state of employment if employed at an Inova Health System freestanding Imaging Center not affiliated with one of the Inova hospitals.
- Certification: Basic Life Support Upon Start; Must be certified by at least one of the following: ARRT, RDMS, RVT, ARMRIT, CAMRT or NMTCB;as applicable with additional certification in an applicable imaging modality required Upon Start
- Experience: Three years of Imaging experience in an applicable modality, X-Ray or Ultrasound or Cat Scan or Mammography or MRI or Interventional Radiology or Nuclear Medicine in a hospital/healthcare environment, Recent hospital experience.
