Job DescriptionThe Director, Global Sales will lead strategic engagements with key clients and partners that are critical to the success of Visa Direct's domestic and cross border solutions. Engagement begins with an early -stage consultation to understand the partner's needs, resources and targeted timeframe. Conversations will continue as we co-design a solution with the partner, agreeing on scope, and timelines. Management of multiple stakeholders and teams within Visa will be required to manage multiple sales opportunities across different regions, create complex deal structures, negotiate, and close multiple deals simultaneously. The candidate will have direct engagement with clients. The ideal candidate will be a structured, experienced money-movement leader, an analytical thinker with excellent communication skills and a strong interest in how products are developed and delivered.S/he will possess a unique combination of sales, business development, product expertise, product solutioning, marketing, problem solving ability, flexibility with rapid changes, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients that are market moving, cross border payments innovators and on projects that have high visibility and impact. S/he should be motivated by managing high profile, complex projects relatively independently. Given the strategic nature of the cross-border partners involved and the end-to-end responsibility of the role, the candidate is very well positioned for recognition and growth. This is a hybrid position.Expectationofdays intheoffice will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. QualificationsBasic Qualifications Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department. Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time. Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers. U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 242,000.00 to 351,450.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
