This driving and armed position requires you to interact with the public, provide outstanding customer service, and respond to incidents as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor for suspicious activity or potential hazards and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with access control and verify the credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the location.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary during incidents.
• Remain visible and approachable to provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Guard License required for Texas.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
