What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals entering or exiting the premises and addressing inquiries in a professional manner.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited items from being brought onto the property.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns and observe for unusual activity.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site protocols.
• Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
