Leidos' Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing is seeking a Manufacturing Data Analyst

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, document, and launch business analysis and data automation tools in a manufacturing environment.
  • Maintain and create dashboards for key metrics that support manufacturing operations.
  • Creation of real-time and semi-real-time production dashboards, labor cost estimation, and resource utilization.
  • Gather and analyze production data, including yield rates, defect rates, cycle times, and throughput.
  • Monitor and evaluate manufacturing performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Candidate will be required to work closely with the manufacturing engineering, business applications, quality, and fulfillment teams to provide insights using the data available in multiple systems.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Candidate will have a Bacherlor's degree in business analytics, computer science, data science, mathematics, or similar discipline and 4-8 years of prior relevant work experience or a Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant work experience
  • At least 2 years of experience analyzing data for programs involved in the design and manufacture of hardware to government specifications (or similar).
  • (Five or more years of applicable experience will also satisfy the BS degree requirement.)
  • Proficiency in data analysis using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills is required.
  • The ability to obtain/maintain a final secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred candidate will have programming experience with data query languages such as SQL, DAX, M, R, or Python, and an understanding of relational database design.
  • Experience with Costpoint Material Planning software, Aegis or Solumina Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software, and/or Windchill PLM software is a plus.
  • Experience in a training role is also a plus.
