The Department of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Division of Neurology at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor. This position will join our Neurocritical Care team and provide inpatient coverage for our neurocritical care service. Responsibilities will also include participating in the neurology consult service, as well as conducting outpatient clinics. In these clinics, there is an opportunity to see a wide variety of patients and clinical disorders of your specialty interest. There are also opportunities to participate in resident and fellow teaching, as well as engaging in clinical/translational research.

The individual must be an MD or DO and be board certified or board-eligible in Neurology, with special qualifications in Pediatric Neurology. The candidate must also have sub-specialty training in neuro-critical care, or substantial ICU experience to be considered for this role. The candidate must also be licensed in the State of Illinois to practice without restriction. The position includes an academic appointment of Instructor or Assistant Professor on the non-tenure, Clinician Educator track in the Department of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Salary and academic rank are commensurate with qualifications.

Proposed starting date is flexible. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

The expected base pay range for this position is $212,100 - $243,984.

Northwestern University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
