Job Description

Job Profile: Quality Inspector- CMM - Levels 1-2

Position Summary:

Setup and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) machines to measure attributes of complex ceramic cores.

Essential Functions:

  • Run and setup CMM programs according to procedure
  • Must be able to use transducer gage
  • Must perform cutoff operation
  • Use all hand-held measuring devices according to procedure
  • Must run CMM Machine for inspection and read product X-Rays
  • Meet department productivity and yield standards
  • Must follow and adhere to all safety procedures
  • Maintain department standards for housekeeping/6S
  • Other duties as assigned by supervision

Required Skills:

  • Previous experience in Inspection or Quality a plus
  • Must be detail oriented and well organized
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Must be self-directed to accomplish goals with minimal supervision

  • Must be able to read and write, and do basic mathematical problems
