Gain exposure to Information security related processes and job duties managing Cyber Risks.


Essential Responsibilities:



  • Participate with the information security team to ensure appropriate measures are in place to identify and prevent potential security risks throughout the network and endpoint environment
  • Assist with detecting vulnerabilities and working with the IT team to ensure timely remediation.
  • Perform research work in the area of information and network security to ensure continued progress in the protection of information assets
  • Participate in the development and review of risk assessments
  • Participate in the implementation and review of appropriate user access throughout the network


    Minimum Required Skills and Competencies:



    • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
    • Must have completed at least one year of college and currently enrolled in a 4-year university or currently enrolled in a Master's Degree Program
    • Must be available to work Monday through Friday, May 18, through early, mid-August
    • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively utilize modern telecommunications tools
    • Punctual and dependable
    • Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
    • Works well in a team environment
    • Ability to successfully balance multiple priorities



    Desired Skills and Competencies:



    • Work Experience and/or Degree program related to Technology and Information Security



    Physical Requirements:



    • Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally.
    • Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the time.
    • Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation.
    • Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
