As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol - Bank Sites in Detroit, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer in a financial institution setting, you will conduct routine patrols and remain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities as you monitor assigned areas and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location, including the business interior and perimeter.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report any security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Control access to restricted areas and verify identification as required by site procedures.
• Assist visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and information.
• Complete daily activity reports and document incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats within the financial institution environment.
• Participate in training sessions and drills related to emergency response and security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
