Job Tittle: Nuclear Medicine Technologist/ Mobile PET Location: Waco, TX, 76708 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Shift: Day Shift Duration: 3 + Months (Temp to Perm Opportunity) Job Description: Under the general supervision of a Radiologist, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures for ambulatory and hospitalized patients. The technologist follows established protocols to support accurate diagnosis and treatment while ensuring patient safety, quality imaging, and regulatory compliance. Role & Responsibilities: Perform nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic imaging procedures (planar, SPECT, SPECT/CT) according to established protocols. Ensure high-quality imaging through proper equipment operation and routine quality control. Prepare, position, and educate patients while ensuring comfort, safety, and HIPAA compliance. Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and follow all radiation safety and disposal guidelines. Screen patients appropriately, including pregnancy screening when required. Maintain infection control and patient safety standards throughout procedures. Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams. Ensure accurate documentation and timely image transfer to PACS/EMR systems. Work independently while delivering efficient, patient-centered care. Communicate changes in patient condition to the care team and assist with on-call coverage as needed. Certifications & Requirements BLS Certification: AHA only. Certification: ARRT (N) or NMTCB. Experience: Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience. Travel to another facility required one day per week (Wednesdays).
