Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is seeking an Admissions/Intake Nurse (RN) to complete assessments and admissions activities for inpatient units and serve as a liaison for Nursing and Intake Departments. Admissions/Intake Nurse (RN) Position Responsibilities include:

• Initial triage and medical screening.
• Assessments for inpatient and outpatient programs.
• Assess, direct and intervene in crisis situations.
• Nurse to nurse screenings for patients transferring to our facility.
• Obtain physician orders, intake calls and pre-certifications.
• Communicate patient needs to unit nurses, physicians and families.

Admissions/Intake Nurse (RN) Night Shift:

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Position Requirements:

Education: Graduate from a professional nursing program; BSN preferred.

Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.

Certifications: Successful completion of CPR and Handle With Care certification; certifications may be obtained during orientation.
