ECU Department of Engineering is currently seeking a Student Communications & Content Assistant.
Job Description
- Creating, editing, and posting content for department social media and digital communications
- Assisting with photography, short-form video, and graphic content
- Drafting posts, captions, and brief articles to highlight people, projects, and events
- Supporting special initiatives, campaigns, and event promotion
This position is ideal for a student who is creative, reliable and eager to build real-world communications experience while contributing to the visibility and impact of
ECU Engineering.
Expected commitment is 10-15 hours per week.
Compensation:
Starting pay: $12 per hour
- Up to $15 per hour for highly qualified candidates

- Strong written communication skills
- Interest in communications, marketing, digital media, or storytelling
