Here's what you'd do:
- Uses predetermined methods, inspection operations, and prescribed specifications to visually inspect solder and conformal coating of circuit card assemblies IAW IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.
- The role will incorporate instructions, drawings, inspection instructions, checklists, and various measuring devices (dial indicators, preset micrometres, scales) to visually inspect circuit card assemblies to manufacturing and industry specifications, including IPC and related reference documents and standards.
- Interfaces effectively and diplomatically with all levels of manufacturing when addressing quality defects.

Pay: $19.00 - $28.00 / hr.
Hours: 4/10 hrs/Week. (2nd shift).
Length: Temp (12 months).

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with inspecting solder connections on surface mount and plated through-hole components, as well as coating of PCBs in accordance with IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.
- Minimum 2 years of IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with soldering inspection.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with manufacturing soldering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with reading engineering Drawings.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Measuring.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Visual Inspection.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Detail-oriented and proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents, and work instructions.
- Team player with good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Personal Computers.
- Able to visually inspect and identify nonconformances and navigate IPC.
- Documentation Skills.
