Job Title: Welder Duration: Direct Hire Location: Naples, FL, 34117 Shift: 1^st, 2^nd , Swing shift (11am - 8pm) Salary: $27 to $33/hr. on w2 with full benefits Pre-Screening Questions: Do you have experience with GTAW and/or Tig Welding? Do you have experience working with Stainless Steel and Aluminum? Are you capable in performing a continuous GTAW weld over a 6-inch span? Summary: Looking for Senior TIG welders and highly prefer to have some tech schooling. The kinds of welds they are looking to do are: Stainless Steel and Aluminum - 30,000- 60,000 347 Stainless and 4043 Aluminum Role & Responsibilities: Performs a wide range of routine to complex manual welds utilizing a variety of process methods and equipment on several different types of stainless steel and aluminum alloys in the fabrication or repair of assigned parts and products. Perform a variety of approved welding techniques to required tolerances per engineering specifications; may perform work on new product development or experimental materials under the direction of engineering. Learns the supports lean manufacturing concepts and methods including cell setup, mapping, and value streaming for efficient product flow. Read and understand product and process drawings, procedures, weld symbols, and quality requirements. Perform full set-up and maintenance to assure quality and repeatability; may be required to set up for other welders. Maintain appropriate knowledge and ability levels to efficiently perform all assigned work and utilize this knowledge base to become proficient in new/unfamiliar assignments Maintain a satisfactorily high level of performance while following appropriate procedures and observing all pertinent safety rules and requirements.
