The Sourcing Analyst supports strategic sourcing initiatives for Owned Brand through strong analytical, operational, and project management skills. This role spans the full sourcing lifecycle-from item setup and vendor onboarding to data analysis and procurement reporting-while partnering cross-functionally to ensure flawless execution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in managing large sets of data, documentation, and system records to ensure accuracy and compliance. They excel at maintaining orderly workflows, tracking information across multiple platforms, and providing clear, well-organized insights that support vendor partnerships, sourcing decisions, and operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Onboarding & Item Maintenance

  • Own item creation and maintenance across systems- ensuring data integrity and alignment across functions.
  • Monitor sourcing-related data accuracy, including vendor attributes, item costs, and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with Vendor Operations to onboard suppliers and manage vendor documentation and contact lists.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Pull, analyze, and interpret data to identify sourcing trends, cost-saving opportunities, and vendor performance metrics.
  • Build and manage user-friendly dashboards and analytics reports that illuminate key trends, improve operational efficiency, and support sourcing decisions.
  • Provide cost analysis and scenario modeling to support vendor negotiations and financial planning.
  • Track and analyze commodity trends that impact product categories and costing strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver ad-hoc analyses and reports in response to business needs.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate with the Owned Brand Sourcing team to optimize sourcing effectiveness through data-driven insights and operational support.
  • Act as a liaison between Sourcing, Item Operations, Product Development, Merchandising, Inventory Planning, and Vendors to align on item readiness, timelines, and data accuracy.

Perform other related, tasks and responsibilities as required, assigned and directed.

Required Skills Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, analytics, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, business analysis, or supply chain operations.
  • Excellent organization and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask with a high sense of urgency.
  • Effective communicator with experience collaborating across departments and geographies.
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn and navigate internal systems quickly.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
