Budget Officer

VTG is looking for a Budget Officer in Chantilly, VA.

The Budget Officer shall:

• Coordinate with various groups to assist in the development of Center's budget
• Monitor the center's budget to ensure proper execution
• Track and archive board-approved programmatic and financial requirements
• Assist with monitoring anticipated resource requirements and actual expenditures for all Front Office activities
• Draft financial reports to satisfy internal and external reporting requirements
• Track external stakeholder funding and maintain configuration management of the Center's financial and execution documentation
• Support the center's management of spending authorities
• Support budget meetings by preparing necessary documentation ad collection actions
• Support creation of SLA, DocIDs, BCRs, and BLIs and support concurrence on budgetary requests
• Assist in drafting SOPS and policies
• Be proficient with Agency budget reporting systems
