DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will be responsible for receiving, opening, sorting, and distributing all incoming and outgoing mail. Duties include collecting mail from the post office in bags and trays, including certified and registered items that require signature at the dock. You will sort mail to separate BMV and BDL items and place them in the appropriate bins for delivery. Additional responsibilities include opening bulk packages, operating envelope-opening machines, and reviewing addresses to distinguish between pipeline mail and items designated for various delivery areas. You will also make at least two daily trips to pick up and deliver mail.

- Full-time employment, 75 hours biweekly
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
