Description

We are hiring a Materials Analyst to join our dynamic manufacturing operations team!
This is a high-impact role where you'll lead efforts to minimize customer disruptions by driving communication, coordination, and recovery planning across manufacturing, order management, and distribution. Who You Are:

You are a proactive problem-solver with a strong background in production planning or inventory control. You excel at cross-functional communication, thrive in ambiguity, and are passionate about continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a production inventory control or manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of materials management, including transactional movements, warehouse flow, and the physical flow of materials on the floor
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse management and planning processes
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Strong oral and written communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or military equivalent experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and legacy planning systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using root cause analysis
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Analyze daily data to assess customer impact and operational risk
  • Lead cross-functional communication and develop recovery plans during disruptions
  • Coordinate material requirements and plant capacity to support production recovery
  • Communicate recovery plans through escalation processes and maintain updates
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning and communication processes
