Job Description

SUMMARY


In collaboration with the LOB Solutions & Applications Manager, the student will apply principles that he or she has learned in school to hands-on situations. The student will be responsible for accomplishing performance goals and will receive progressive responsibility through his/her co-op experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

* Escalation of issues, and incident resolution

* Installation, configuration and troubleshooting for IT hardware and software

* Diagnosing and troubleshooting in a manufacturing production environment

* Help to research complex technical problems

* Experience with a help desk environment is a plus

* Review of folder permissions on file servers and possible re-structuring

* Provide general computer support within the plant

* Deploy 2 new switches to be configured by division

* Complete a baseline review of the required software for the Revert Group

* Performs all aspects of the position according to the PCC Code of Conduct and SOX guidelines

* Adheres to plant and department safety rules, safely operate all equipment and tools, identifies and reports safety problems, corrects when possible

* Maintains a clean and safe work area

QUALIFICATIONS

* Knowledge of computer hardware
* Basic knowledge of computer networking
* Proficient with Microsoft Office
* Good writing skills and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, VB 6.0, C#, or VB.Net is a plus

*Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment including but not limited to, metatarsal shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hard hats, hearing protection and flame-retardant clothing.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $20.16 to $20.16 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. Employees will receive 0 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
