Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol - Full Time

As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol - Full Time in Lillington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This position requires both carrying a firearm and driving as part of your daily responsibilities. You will be a visible presence, supporting a secure environment and embodying our values of teamwork, agility, and integrity as you interact with staff and visitors.

What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as instructed by Allied Universal.
• Provide customer service to all individuals at the location, assisting with inquiries and offering guidance as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Participate in emergency response activities as directed, including coordinating with local authorities when necessary.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disruptions and promote a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
