Job Description




As a Security Officer - Facility Patrol Driver in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role includes providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding our core values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation. This is a driving post that requires a valid driver's license as you help maintain a secure environment for all employees and visitors.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the food and beverage production environment to help to deter security-related risks.
  • Document observations and/or incidents according to Allied Universal and client-specific protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, site personnel, and/or visitors as needed.
  • Support access control procedures and verify credentials for individuals entering restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
