INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST

INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST: Modify security configuration files to support new software installations, fix system errors, and adjust user access permissions; Implement security measures for computer or information systems; Develop computer or information security policies or procedures; Test computer system operations to ensure proper functioning; Collaborate with other teams or departments to align project tasks and objectives to optimize security automation; Oversee and track the protection of sensitive digital data; Diagnose, resolve, and troubleshoot problems with software applications or IT systems to enhance Cybersecurity; Stay current on new technologies and trends affecting the cybersecurity landscape; Develop, implement, and maintain security automation playbooks using Splunk SOAR (Phantom) to streamline incident response processes. Automate repetitive SOC tasks such as phishing triage, malware investigation, and alert enrichment using Python scripting; Knowledge of Technical Skills such as Splunk Power User, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Python, and Malware Analysis required. Paid Travel to Unanticipated Client Sites within the US is required. The frequency of travel for the position will depend upon the nature of the project, and the requirements of the client, but it will not exceed 1 week per month. The employee will be expected to take 3 to 6 trips per year. Travel will not exceed 10% of the employees’ total work hours. Salary offered is $104, 562.00.
