StandardAero Augusta is a Business Aviation MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul) facility, operating at AGS for over 50 years. Join our team as the Lead A&P Mechanic on our Dassault Falcon Team. You will oversee a specialized group of mechanics dedicated to Falcon aircraft (900, 2000, 7X). This position requires hands-on expertise, technical guidance, and direct customer interaction to ensure aircraft maintenance is completed on time and meets the highest standards. What you'll do:
Collaborate with customers to ensure satisfaction and timely aircraft delivery. Monitor project hours, costs, and quality. Coordinate with other departments to maintain a seamless customer experience. Conduct initial inspections and operational tests on aircraft and components. Identify discrepancies and perform maintenance. Run functional and operational checks to ensure airworthiness. Remove and evaluate aircraft components for serviceability. Perform repairs, scheduled maintenance, and modifications as required. Reinstall components, perform operational checks, and execute engine runs. Document and sign off work per FAA standards. Follow technical manuals and manufacturer data for inspections and repairs. Supervise and guide a team of technicians, provide technical guidance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth workflow. Train and mentor A&P Mechanics, fostering skill development.
Position Requirements:
- Must be able to work 2nd Shift
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
- 3+ years of A&P Mechanic experience on Dassault Falcon corporate aircraft.
- Demonstrated leadership and/or supervisory experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Characteristics:
- 7+ years of A&P Mechanic experience.
- Proven ability to interact with and resolve customer concerns.
- Experience in heavy and light maintenance, service bulletins, and troubleshooting.
- Strong team-building, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
