ABOUT THE JOB:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing decentralized accounting functions, captive accounting, and internal reporting of financial and accounting results. This role plays a key part in consolidating company-wide accounting results in collaboration with the Senior Manager. Additionally, the Accounting Manager is responsible for reviewing and posting key accounting entries required during the financial close process, including debt and swap accounting.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee decentralized accounting processes, including adjacency accounting acquisitions and captive accounting functions.
- Ensure timely and accurate internal reporting of financial and accounting results.
- Work closely with the Senior Manager to consolidate accounting across the organization, ensuring consistency and compliance with accounting standards.
- Review and post key accounting entries required during the financial close process, including debt and swap accounting transactions.
- Work closely with the Senior Manager to ensure accurate reconciliation of intercompany accounts.
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, including goodwill and intangible accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate accounting policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, operations, and compliance, to support seamless financial reporting and integration efforts.
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports to explain period fluxes, support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and support the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and company policies in all financial activities.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing any inquiries.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance and process improvements.

- Significant use of these systems and tools is strongly preferred
- MS Office Suite, including strong excel skills
- SAP
- Oracle FCCS, EPM
- Snowflake data warehouse
- Sigma, Tableau Reporting/Analysis tools
- Blackline
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or audit environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal control frameworks.
- Experience in acquisition accounting, financial consolidations, internal reporting, and debt/swap accounting.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, with experience in cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Work Environment:
- This position operates in a professional office setting and may require occasional extended hours during peak reporting periods or audits.
- Some travel may be required, up to 10%.
- Consistent in-office requirement of 3 days in office, required. In office requirements are subject to change.
