Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Program Support Specialist for the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Under the supervision of the discipline specific Clerkship Director, assists with the development, implementation and monitoring of educational programs within the department. Provides administrative and program support to the Undergraduate Medical Education Office. Reports to Department Administrator and Clerkship Director. The Program Support Specialist will support all departmental activities: clerkships, electives, sub-internships, boot camps, summative clinical skills assessment, and departmental-specific activities in Introduction to the Clerkship Experience.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Provides administrative support to all undergraduate clinical medical education activities.
- Liaison to students, faculty, residents, community faculty, affiliated sites and school administration for any issues or questions relating to the Clerkship, Electives, Sub-internships, Boot Camp and other departmental undergraduate medical student activities.
- Supports the Primary and Ambulatory Care Continuity Experience (PACCE).
- Organizes medical student attendance at interdisciplinary conferences and lectures.
- Acts as liaison between students and community preceptors.
- Maintains and updates web-based course platform (AMP) including syllabi, related course materials and creation of course evaluations in AMP or other platforms. Serves as first support contact for students with issues/problems relating to web-based platforms.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Social Science or a related field plus two (2) years of progressively more responsible administrative experience required.
- Equivalent experience, education and/or training may be substituted for the education requirements.

- Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and start new rotation tasks while finishing previous rotation duties.
