Senior* Network Engineer (Contract-to-Hire)* Location: Hybrid - 2 days onsite in Boulder, CO Compensation: $120K-$140K upon conversion About the Role Aurora Organic Dairy (AOD) is seeking a Senior* Network Engineer* to design, implement, and optimize our enterprise network infrastructure. This role bridges the gap between architecture and administration-turning high-level designs into secure, efficient deployments. You'll work closely with our Network Architect and IT Operations team to build a resilient, modern network that supports AOD's growth. Key Responsibilities * Implement network designs across Fortinet, Cisco, and other platforms. * Configure and manage Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, FortiSwitches, FortiAPs, and FortiManager environments. * Deploy and maintain high-availability systems for network resilience. * Optimize network topology, redundancy, and capacity in collaboration with the Network Architect. * Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot WAN/LAN/WLAN and VPN performance. * Manage network security: firewall policy audits, vulnerability mitigation, and compliance. * Document configurations, standards, and disaster recovery procedures. * Mentor Network Administrator and assist with escalated incidents. * Support IT projects like network modernization and IoT security segmentation. * Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours maintenance.
