As an Allied Universal team member in an access control role at an automotive location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible to assist visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and guests. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Assist with the implementation of security-related procedures and policies to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and client-specific guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or security-related concerns according to site and Allied Universal requirements.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including guiding individuals to designated areas and coordinating with first responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
