As a Security Officer - Unarmed Property Roving CRE in Santa Monica, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related hazards found during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, incidents, and observations while on duty.
• Support access control protocols to help to deter unauthorized entry to the premises as required by site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
