As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and staying visible throughout assigned areas. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the healthcare facility, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors and staff with security-related inquiries and directions.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies, adapting to the needs of a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies and facility disturbances.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as required to support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
