As Practice Leader, you will report to the Business Group Director and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the practice, including execution of business strategy, operations, and team leadership. This role requires collaboration with other Business Line Leaders and Managers to drive performance, ensure client satisfaction, and advance organizational goals. What you'll be challenged to do:
- Develop and execute the practice's business and development plans (geography, market, client, service), aligned with enterprise strategy.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise other practice leaders and staff, identifying opportunities for development, promotion, and hiring.
- Coordinate with other Business entities across the enterprise to ensure alignment and promote cross-selling opportunities.
- Evaluate market opportunities, client needs, and emerging trends to inform Go/No-Go decisions and strategy.
- Support innovation initiatives to improve efficiency, profitability, and operational effectiveness.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance on projects within the practice, serving as a principal or senior manager as needed.
- Review and approve project plans, schedules, and deliverables, ensuring high-quality client outcomes.
Education | Experience:
What you will bring to our firm:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field; Master's preferred.
- 15+ years of relevant experience, including at least 10 years supervising staff.
- Professional licensure and/or certifications preferred, with the ability to obtain in multiple jurisdictions.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); knowledge of advanced analysis/design software preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with experience leading client presentations.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or advanced technical certifications (D.GE, LEG) preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and lead teams effectively.
