Our clients organization contributes to professional apps used by millions of customers around the world. To help them scale without sacrificing their best-in-class quality, they're looking for a Technical Producer who loves orchestrating content delivery. This role will support a team of technical production designers and their cross-functional partners (e.g. Design, Eng, QA, UI, Product Marketing) as they develop and deliver in-app content.

The roles primary function is to manage the release lifecycle (planning, initiation, execution, retrospective) while considering feature support/integration and process improvements along the way. The ideal candidate will bring experience in a variety of project management methodologies, systems and tooling. The right candidate will crave direct responsibility to navigate ambiguous and complex challenges using stakeholder feedback, resourcefulness and tact. Lastly, the teammate they seek will share our limitless desire to learn, grow and evolve.

This isn't just a high-level coordination role; it is a "in the weeds" position for a process-oriented professional who thrives on managing thousands of moving parts. You will bridge the gap between world-class designers and the production teams writing the code to integrate these assets into the apps. This role is perfect for the person who loves a clean checklist, a structured process, and the satisfaction of moving a project through a complex pipeline. If you enjoy "heads-down" execution and being the person everyone relies on to know exactly where a project stands, this is your gig.

Key Responsibilities

  • Asset Air Traffic Control: Orchestrate the end-to-end delivery of thousands of creative assets (templates, layouts, images, and illustrations) across multiple app suites.
  • Technical Hub: Translate creative designs into technical deliverables. Coordinate with Engineering and QA to ensure assets are built correctly into the app infrastructure.
  • Localization & Accessibility: Manage the delivery of "strings" for global language support and accessibility (AX) descriptions for visually impaired users.
  • Pipeline Management: Use tools like Wrike to track a rigorous 50-step production process, ensuring no detail is missed from initial design to released database.
  • Bug Mitigation: Oversee the bug lifecycle using Radar. Route technical issues to the correct production designers and ensure fixes are implemented before release.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Empower yourself to reach out to Photo, Illustration, Design, and Engineering partners to unblock dependencies and maintain strict timelines.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Technical Project/Program Manager (EPM) within software, media, or design.
  • Production Backbone: Significant experience in operations or production where you managed large asset pipelines or Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Technical Fluency: Ability to speak the language of QA and Engineering. You should understand the "back-end" of how a design becomes a functional app feature.
  • Extreme Detail-Orientation: A proven track record of managing "reams of data" and thousands of deliverables without losing sight of the finish line.
  • Communication: Empathetic but firm communication style; able to escalate blockers with tact to keep the engine moving.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Wrike and Radar bug-tracking system is a major advantage.
  • Creative Context: Experience with Apple's Pro Apps (Final Cut Pro, Motion, Logic) or the iWork suite (Keynote).
  • Scale Experience: Experience transitioning a team from low-volume to high-volume output and building the necessary infrastructure along the way.
