Who We Are
We are Tennis! The USTA (United States Tennis Association) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis and the leader in promoting and developing the sport's growth on every level in the United States, from local communities to the crown jewel of the professional game, the US Open.

The RoleAs an Information Security Graduate Intern, you will be an active member of our security program, contributing to both day-to-day operations and long-term research initiatives. Your experience will blend collaborative team work with independent, high-impact assignments designed to strengthen our overall security posture.
Defend
Analyze
- Support the Vulnerability Management team by running vulnerability scans
- Triage findings based on business risk and urgency
- Assist system owners in understanding and remediating critical security flaw
Educate
- Support the security awareness program by tailoring and launching phishing simulations
- Analyze campaign results and identify behavioral trends
- Contribute to the creation of educational content and staff training materials
Innovate
- Take ownership of an independent project aligned with your interests. Examples include:
- Researching the impact of AI on cybersecurity defenses and helping draft secure-use policies
- Exploring automation opportunities within SOC or vulnerability management workflows
- Evaluating emerging tools or technologies that could enhance organizational security
Program details:
- 8-week program from June 9 through August 11
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM ET
- Hybrid role requiring 3 days per week on-site at our Orlando office
- Compensation: $35.00 per hour
Who You Are
- Possess a foundational understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, ports, protocols), operating systems (Windows, Linux), and core security principles
- Familiarity with security tools, whether through coursework, labs, or personal projects, is a strong plus (e.g., Wireshark, Nmap, Kali Linux)
- Curious, analytical, and eager to problem-solve in a real-world security environment
- Able to work collaboratively while also taking initiative on independent tasks
