FP&A MANAGER - REMOTE

In order for this role to be remote, you must be in the United States and live within the EST area. Also, you must have manufacturing experience and advanced HFM and Power BI skills to be considered.


Our client has an exciting and challenging career opportunity for a financial reporting guru. This FP&A Manager will have strong analytical, project management and communication skills. This individual will actively support planning, forecasting, and analysis activities. Key Accountabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret complex data, apply rigorous analysis, and support sound business decisions
  • Serve as a strategic finance partner in leading the organization's performance rhythm, including recurring business reviews, KPI oversight, corrective action planning, and long-range financial modeling
  • Hands-on experience designing, implementing, or enhancing financial planning, consolidation, and business intelligence tools
  • Play a central role in quarterly performance assessments and the annual operating plan, budget, forecast and multi-year strategy development. Oversee recurring forecast reviews to enhance accuracy, identify emerging risks, and surface upside opportunities
  • Analyze monthly financial and operational results, assessing trends versus targets, prior periods, and external benchmarks to identify risks and opportunities
  • Monitor and report on value-creation initiatives, working closely withleadership to ensure ownership, execution, and accountability
  • Promote disciplined profitability management and accountability to financial commitments throughout the organization
  • Evaluate and support capital deployment decisions, restructuring efforts, and other enterprise-level initiatives through formal investment review processes
  • Participate in merger and acquisition activities, including financial assessment and due diligence for prospective transactions
  • Translate macroeconomic and market dynamics into strategic insights and scenario-based financial implications
  • Lead initiatives aimed at improving working capital efficiency across the business
  • Prepare and review financial models and business cases supporting future growth investments
  • Track progress of active growth initiatives, recommending adjustments to improve performance and outcomes
  • Develop presentation materials and financial narratives for executive leadership and board-level discussions as required
Experience & Capabilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance is required. MBA is preferred. Accreditation in Accounting (CFA, CMA, CPA, or CIA) highly desirable
  • Must have advanced Power BI and HFM skills, in addition, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Minimum of five years of progressive experience in finance, operations, or related analytical roles
  • Reputation for integrity, professionalism, and ethical judgment
  • Highly motivated self-starter capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence across functions and levels

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
