Job Description:

Major job responsibilities:

. Perform Internal Audits for worldwide locations.

. Assist with 3rd party QMS certifications and on-going 3rd-party audits at multiple designs and manufacturing locations.

. Support integration activities related to company acquisitions into Microchip's QMS. Help manage their certification activities

. Support aspects of Customer issue resolution and problem solving

. Work with Microchip WW factory teams to support process/system improvements

. Interface to new product development teams; propose procedures/systems for improving new product releases and related requirements

. Work to resolve customer quality issues; interface with Engineering, Failure Analysis, Sales and Manufacturing to identify root cause and implement Corrective Actions

- Perform contract and feasibility review on customer technical specifications and non-standard requests. Work with engineering and factories to implement customer requirements.

- Work with all company functions to review operations and propose procedures/systems for improving and streamlining operations

. Develop as-is and to-be process maps

. Support quality improvement initiative and programs to achieve 0 ppm

- Assist with performing gap analysis, review and implementation of various QMS Standards and associated requirements into Microchip Processes

- Assist and lead Corporate Quality Applications / Tool Development with ability to incorporate Machine Learning Capabilities into the tools developed for WW Microchip Locations.

Requirements/Qualifications:

. BS in Engineering or equivalent; Masters preferred

. 1-4 years of work experience preferably in an electrical/electronic field.

. Have a general knowledge of Statistical concepts and tools (e.g., SPC, DOE, Regression Analysis, MSA, Minitab, JMP, etc.)

. Basic programming and data analytical skills (e.g., Python, Power BI, Tableau etc.)

. Have excellent skills in problem solving and performing root cause analysis

. Ability to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation

. General knowledge of semiconductor products

. Microsoft Office Suite

. Proven record of working on multiple projects either alone or with cross functional teams across multiple levels of the

organization

. Possess excellent written/verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

. Capable leadership skills necessary

. Strong self-motivational ability

. Flexible with travel
