Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Construction Equipment Sales Manager.

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc., your local Caterpillar dealership, is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our growing team of established and successful professionals.

The CE Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing a sales team, and ensuring superior customer service across a broad customer base. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the construction equipment market.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Execute the Annual Business Plan and achieve established sales metrics for the region.
  • Lead a CE sales team including recruitment, development, training, and performance evaluation. Provide guidance, support, and coaching to drive high performance and achieve sales targets.
  • Complete weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting processes to track sales performance and progress.
  • Collaborate closely with various internal departments including Order Fulfillment, Rental, Marketing, Credit, Finance, and Product Support.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with OEMs and allied vendors.
  • Interact and manage positive relationships with CAT personnel and various stakeholders within the company.


Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Previous sales experience with a construction equipment dealer preferred. Strong sales techniques and the ability to teach and implement them within the team.
  • In-depth product and application expertise in construction equipment.
  • Knowledge of the assigned region, including market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Proficiency in business software such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to learn and utilize dealer systems including CRM/Quote System/ERP.
  • Analytical skills, strategic thinking, multitasking, and prioritization abilities.
  • Capacity to recruit, motivate, and coach a regional sales team.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Mechanical and electrical knowledge and aptitude.
  • This role requires outdoor activities on construction sites, including boarding construction equipment.
  • Extensive travel by automobile within the territory is required.
